ABOUT

The mission of the Computer Science and Engineering Department of CE Cherthala is to generate high caliber computer engineers to meet the global demands. The Computer science and Engineering Department of CEC offers premier professional training with an eye on the modern development in Computer Science offering 4-year B.Tech degree courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Two year PG course in Master of Computer Applications(MCA) . The department owns versatile and powerful computing facilities. The curriculum is harmonically tuned with today's hardware and software industry. The widely spaced subjects are – automata theory, compiler construction, programming languages, database management systems, data structures, computer networks, operating systems, software engineering, object-oriented programming, Electronic Circuits and digital electronics, Micro Processors, computer graphics, algorithms, artificial intelligence, security in computing. Apart from these the curriculum also includes electives.

To be a center of excellence in computer science and allied computing education, research, and innovation that nurtures competent professionals, fosters inclusive societal progress, and serves the needs of industry and the nation.

M1:To provide quality education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science through process.

M2:To encourage innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship skills in areas of Computer Science ,AI.

M3:To develop professional ethics, social responsibility, and lifelong learning among students.

Programme Educational Objectives(PEO)

PEO1:Graduates will evolve as employable computer engineers, possessing leadership and collaborative skills, for developing solutions in multidisciplinary domains.

PEO2: Graduates will come out as socially responsible computer engineers possessing good communication skills, high ethical values and empathy towards the society.

PEO3: Graduates will take up higher education so as to associate themselves with the field and keep abreast of Research & Development.
